Term Time plus 2 weeks

Grade 4 (£17,681 - £18,319) pro rata

Our aim for every learner at Thomas Bennett Community College is that they grow in confidence, resilience and aspire to be the best that they can be. 

We are seeking to appoint a Learning Resource Assistant to start as soon as possible. 

The successful candidate will be required to:

· Manage the library stock and keeping the centre in good working order, running the library management system and supporting students to find the resources they require and to supervise their use of the library. 

· Assist in the running of a programme called Accelerated Reader which is aimed to promote and support reading for pleasure across the school.

· Manage learning resource provision by providing an efficient service to students and staff including undertaking planned and unplanned printing and photocopying

· Produce materials for events including the school’s Open Evening and award ceremonies. 

· Assist staff in training on the specialist reprographic equipment promoting good practise in the use of the machines. 

· Manage the print resources to ensure that sufficient supplies are stocked in school.
