Job overview

We are seeking an empathetic, enthusiastic and caring individual to provide one-to-one pupil assistance in-class 17 hours per week, term time only. To support the pupil with social communication and executive function difficulties by encouraging, motivating, organising and note taking in lessons.

To be considered for this role you will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with good organisational, interpersonal and literacy skills. It would be desirable if you have sound knowledge of Autistic Spectrum conditions but not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a school recently rated ‘Excellent in All Categories’ by the ISI Inspection report – February 2020. The report identified that ‘Across the school the achievement of pupils with Special Education Needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is strong and at least in line with their peers’. The report indicated further that SEND learners received ‘high quality support’.

Radnor House is an age 9-18, selective, co-educational, independent day school set in historic buildings on the banks of the Thames in Twickenham, just thirty minutes from Central London. The relatively small size of Radnor House enables us to focus on the individual needs of all of our pupils.
