Due to an expansion of our team, Sale High School is looking to appoint a number of roles – Teaching Assistants to support students in their progress and attainment.

 About the Role:

To work under the direct instruction of SENCO, teaching/senior staff to:

·        Support students with their learning in lessons, helping them stay focused and providing more help as needed for different tasks and activities

·        Support individuals and groups of students with work to help them improve or catch up in specific areas

·        Provide support to the teacher as needed in class, with teaching and learning

 About You:

No previous experience of education or working with children/young people is required, and we will provide the training you need to get off to a great start in this role. You will need:

·        Good numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE grade C/4 or above)

·        To be able to work effectively as part of a team

·        A passion for working with children and young people
