We wish to appoint an excellent Teacher of English to join our outstanding department. Applications are welcome from individuals of all faiths or none, who will support the catholic ethos of our school. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a whole school initiative supporting the literacy development of students. We would welcome applications from teachers currently working at Key Stage 2 as well as those working in Key Stages 3-5.
Our oversubscribed School achieved 83% 5 A*-C including Maths and English in 2016 and the Sixth Form received an ‘outstanding’ ALP’s judgement. In our previous Ofsted inspection both ‘Behaviour & Safety’ and our Sixth Form were judged ‘outstanding’. In English we achieve consistently outstanding results – in June 2016 89% A*-C in English Language and 84% English Literature. The English Department currently has five dedicated teaching rooms, all equipped with interactive white boards. The team also includes dedicated Media and Drama teachers and classroom.

Salary payable is on the Teachers Main Pay Scale - UPS, including Outer London Weighting.
