Long Close School seeks to appoint a dynamic, creative and personable Marketing Manager who will
work to advance the school’s interests, pupil roll and profile.
Long Close is an independent school in Slough which educates boys and girls from 2-16 years. The
primary objective of the role-holder is to recruit and retain pupils at each distinct educational stage -
Nursery/Early Years, Prep School (in the Top 50 in the country in the latest Sunday Times Parent Power
ranking) and Senior School (where students perform strongly at GCSE). The School has a new Head and
will celebrate its 80th anniversary in 2021, so this is an ideal time to join. Long Close is owned by Cognita

This role represents an exciting opportunity to be on the School’s Leadership team and be responsible
for the planning and execution of Marketing, PR, events and communications. S/he will report to the
Headteacher and work closely with the Business Manager, Admissions Registrar and teaching staff.
