Long Close School

Long Close School is a co-educational, independent school for children aged 2-16, situated in Slough, Berkshire.

The school was founded in 1940 and after a series of developments over the decades was bought by Cognita, the largest independent schools business in the UK, in 2004. The senior school opened in September 2006.

With over 80 years of teaching heritage, the school is firmly established as the first choice amongst parents looking to give their child the best possible start to their education. Proud of their reputation for delivering academic excellence, both at 11+ and GCSE stages, children thrive with small class sizes and experienced teachers delivering an outstanding education.
