Job overview

We are looking to appoint a Medical Welfare Officer to join our pastoral team at Moorside High School. 

As a Medical Welfare Officer you will manage the medical needs of students in line with academy policies and procedures and contribute to strategies to support students and ensure that their medical needs are not barriers to learning. 

You will be responsible for liaising and working with parents/carers and outside agencies to ensure that the medical needs of students are appropriately met by the school. 

The successful candidate should be supportive of the ethos and values of the school and have the ability to encourage and motivate our students. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills who can communicate clearly and sensitively with different stakeholders.
