About the role
St Catherine's Catholic College, The Whitsundays is seeking an experienced and dedicated Middle Leader - Pastoral (Yr 10-12) commencing in Term 3, 2022. The ability to teach Maths and/or Legal Studies is highly advantageous. This is a Full Time, Fixed Term Contract for 12 months.
The position of Middle Leader - Pastoral (Yr 10-12) is responsible for:
- Leading the pastoral care of students of multiple year levels within the College
- Supervision and induction of teachers engaged in pastoral care in the designated area of responsibility
- Pastoral care of staff engaged in the area of responsibility
- Other appropriate duties as required by the Principal and College Leadership Team.

Mandatory Criteria/Professional Registration/Other
- Appropriate Tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner
- It is a requirement of this role that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination will be required as a pre-commencement document.
