St Teresa's College, Abergowrie is a Catholic secondary boy's boarding college.  Located in an ideal rural setting in the heart of the Herbert River Valley, the College is approximately 30 km north west of Ingham and situated on Warrgamay land.  The main industries are sugarcane, forestry, and cattle.  Abergowrie is close to Wallaman Falls which is the highest single drop waterfall in Australia and the beautiful Broadwater National Park.

About the role

St Teresa's College has a number of exciting opportunities available for dedicated Middle Teachers (Years 7-10) to commence in Term 1, 2022. These positions will be Full Time, Fixed Term Contract positions for the duration of the 2022 teaching year with the potential of renewal or permanency after the initial contract.

Ideally, the college is seeking teachers with experience in the following subjects:

  • STEM
  • Religious Education

Applicants that have experience in Boys' Education, boarding school environments or working in a rural/remote area are highly desirable.
