In its most recent Ofsted inspection in November 2022 the Academy was judged to be Outstanding in all areas.

We are seeking to appoint a committed individual to work as part of a dedicated team of staff whom show integrity, imagination and energy for the rewarding role. We seek someone who can effectively support selected students through individually tailored programmes of One to One tuition in Maths. 

We welcome applications from people who:

  • considering a career in teaching Maths and wish to gain experience
  • are looking to return to teaching Maths
  • hold an AS/A level Maths
  • are able to demonstrate that they can work with individual students to progress their learning in Maths

or

  • have subject specific knowledge of Maths at Key stage 4

The successful applicant will put the needs of young people first, have a passion for learning, excellent interpersonal skills and will be both ICT and emotionally literate. Tutors will be required to prepare their own resources to meet the needs of the students but to also use resources where directed by the HoD or the Director of Maths.
