St Mary's OSHC is currently recruiting casual Cert III Educators to join our OSHC team.

What skills we are looking for:

  • Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care ;
  • Strong understanding of My Time Our Place Framework (MTOP) and National Quality Standards (NQS) ;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills ;
  • Verifiable work experience in the childcare field ;
  • Valid Ochre Card (or ability to obtain) ;
  • Childcare First Aid Certificate .


Day to day, you will:

  • Work under the supervision of the Assistant Director to provide educational experiences and care for children ;
  • Assist in the programming and implementation quality child-focused activities ;
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with children and families from diverse backgrounds with varied needs ;
  • Adhere to the services, policies and procedures of St Mary’s Outside School Hours Care and work in accordance with all relevant regulations, including the My Time Our Place Framework (MTOP) and National Quality Standards (NQS) ;
  • Assist in ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for children and staff ;
  • Evaluate and improve your practice ensuring you are gaining knowledge and skills that will assist in providing quality services to children and families ;
  • Work as part of a team, supporting and contributing to St Mary’s community in line with St Mary’s Outside School Hours Care Philosophy and Code of Ethics.


Hours: 2.30 - 5.45 pm
