Job overview

We are seeking an outstanding Key Stage 5 Computing teacher or tutor to join our successful college (for pupils aged 11-19). This is a part-time position and the post holder will be teaching small groups of sixth form students (some no more than 10 students). Our sixth form is a vibrant, purposeful and engaging environment.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced teacher with excellent subject knowledge and a passion for raising attainment and expectations. About Platanos College

Platanos College is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school without sixth form situated in South London. It is an academy state school supported by the Platanos Trust, a multi-academy trust set up with the intention of raising standards and preparing students for the challenges of the 21st century. The school will provide 1,000 places for secondary pupils aged 11-19, when fully subscribed.

An academy converter, Platanos College reopened in February 2011. It was the first school in the Platanos Trust.
