PE Technician /SSCO

Theale Green School is a vibrant secondary school in West Berkshire which joined the Activate Learning Education Trust on 1 April 2018, taking it to the next exciting stage on its path to excellence. Our PE Department has once again been awarded Gold status as a partner school for our commitment to PE and school sport. This is for the fifth consecutive year. We aim to achieve ‘Platinum’ status next year. In order for us to reach this level we are seeking a passionate and highly capable PE technician who will keep the department running smoothly on a day to day basis, promote the students sporting accolades throughout local press and support sport in general in the SSCO element of this dual role – going out to primary schools, hosting and managing events alongside our School Sport Network Manager. 

We are seeking a PE Technician / SSCO the successful candidate will:

• Have the skills to form excellent working relationships with students,         staff, parents/carers and external contacts 

• Be a car driver and owner in order to carry extra-curricular activities and the responsibilities of the SSCO role
