Role: 

A dedicated Personal Assistant is required to provide a confidential and support service to the Principal, Academy Business Manager and Senior Leadership Team in managing daily tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of the academy. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic large secondary academy and contribute to the success of our students in line with our vision and values.

The Personal Assistant will need to be organised, efficient and self-motivated who can work independently and as a team, using their experience of working with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, providing comprehensive support to the Principal across all areas of their work, including coordinating calendars and meetings, and ensuring Senior Leaders are up to date with upcoming projects and timelines, and any other requests.

To undertake duties, as requested by the Principal / Academy Business Manager, to assist with the efficient running of the Academy’s support services. 

The successful candidate will have proven knowledge and experience in order to perform the role adequately and successfully.

In addition, you will be responsible for the administration of the requirements of the associated policies to ensure these are clear and accurate. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to work within a team with a calm, professional and caring persona and courteous and caring behaviour to students, colleagues, and parents at all times. Previous experience of working within a school environment would be an advantage.

Leeds West is a co-educational, non-denominational 11-16 secondary in the city’s district of Bramley. The school is a member of the White Rose Academies Trust. There are currently approximately 1,300 students on the school roll. The school is located near Summerfield Primary School and Stanningley Park. The school offers an extensive programme of extra-curricular activities from martial arts to chess. The school is also sponsored by Leeds City College.
