A rare opportunity to join the administration team at this excellent school has arisen. We are looking for a new Personal Assistant to the Headteacher 

The role will include:

  • A comprehensive PA and secretarial service for the Headteacher and members of the Senior Leadership Team
  • Liaison with colleagues, parents and other agencies
  • Arranging, preparing for, and minute taking at, meetings
  • Diary management
  • Record keeping and HR administration 
  • Maintenance and co-ordination of safeguarding documentation 
  • Supervision of staff

The successful applicant will:

  • Hold qualifications at Level 3 (A Levels, or equivalent), plus GCSE English at Grade C or above
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have outstanding ICT and secretarial skills, including accurate touch typing (a knowledge of SIMs would be advantageous)
  • Have superb organisational skills
  • Be self-motivated, dedicated, consistent and have a confident personality
  • Have strong interpersonal skills
  • Be able to work with a variety of stakeholders and groups
  • Be a really strong team player
  • Be interested in developing a career within a school in a growing multi academy trust

Usual working weeks: 41 weeks (term time only, plus two weeks)

Usual hours of work: 37 hours per week
