The Academy is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Citizenship and PSHE specialist, with leadership skills of the highest order. We are looking for an exceptional practitioner, with the ability to lead our thriving Personal Development department, including all aspects of KS3/4 PSHE and GCSE Citizenship. The ability to lead and teach Politics to AS/A2 Level would also be desirable.
The successful candidate will be a confident and strategically-minded individual, with the excellent interpersonal skills necessary to take a leading role in the overall management of a very successful department. They will have a track record of raising attainment and delivering outstanding lessons. We are looking for an outstanding teacher and leader who will enhance and develop teaching and learning within the subject area. Whilst appropriate training and support will be provided for the successful candidate, applicants will need to be able to exhibit strong leadership and organisational skills including a good understanding of leading, managing and participating in successful teams.
