We know our students well and we know what works in the classroom and what doesn't. Through a network of support we ensure that all staff have an induction period and are given training on how we do things at Chelsea Academy. Fear not, our policies allow for individuality and experimentation and we love to talk about teaching and learning and what works and doesn't; there is no 'one way' of doing things here. Our approach works, our results are getting better and better each year and at both GCSE and A level we are now in the top 10% of schools nationally.

As well as a commitment to Academic success for all of our students we also ensure that we have a full clubs, trip and after school programme. We work with Mind on student and staff mental health, are a Stonewall Champion school and have great links with local employers. We believe that all our students should become great citizens.

Further Information

Chelsea Academy is an Outstanding, World Class School, sponsored by the London Diocesan Board for Schools and Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. We are a warm, friendly and inclusive school with a strong  Christian ethos and have a track record of excellent examination success and first class staff development. We combine traditional values and high standards with an innovative approach to learning and teaching and a strong commitment to staff development. The Academy’s specialism is the sciences and we also offer 10% of our places to students with a musical aptitude. Visitors to the school have consistently commented on the high standards of behaviour, enthusiasm for learning and confidence of our students, as well as the Academy’s stunning brand new £43m building.

We are currently graded outstanding by Ofsted and SIAMS, are a World Class School and a member of the SSAT Leading Edge network. In the summer we achieved our best ever GCSE results in terms of both progress and attainment. However, we are much more than a successful, academically focused school. We believe in educating the whole child and our Christian values of joy, perseverance, servant leadership, charity and forgiveness underpin everything we stand for. It is important that all of our staff, whether they are teachers or not, work closely with our young people and ensure that they are successful in all that they do. We are looking for staff who will always go the extra mile for our young people and believe that education happens both in and out of the classroom.

Chelsea Academy is an excellent place to work and we are looking for talented individuals to join our team. If you don't see a post that you are interested in then please do contact us and ask to be kept on our recruitment database.
