Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly-motivated teacher to join our Physical Education Department in the Secondary School. The successful candidate will be expected to take a lead in the development of girls’ sport within the School. Experience teaching GCSE/IGCSE Physical Education and/or a specialism in swimming would be an advantage.

Kolej Tuanku Ja’afar (KTJ) is a thriving international school, with state-of-the-art facilities set in beautiful Malaysian countryside, an hour’s drive south of Kuala Lumpur. The School was established in 1991 and now caters for more than 1,000 students aged 3 to 19. The Primary School follows the English National Curriculum in English and Mathematics, alongside the International Primary Curriculum; while the Secondary School prepares students for IGCSEs and A Levels. Most students go on to study at UK universities.

Teaching Information

Teachers at Kolej Tuanku Jaafar are expected to hold at least 2 years’ relevant experience in their teaching subject and the British National Curriculum, with strong IT skills. Teachers are also expected to engage fully in the life of the school.
