We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly effective Premises Support Assistant to join our Premises Team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our highly professional, friendly team. We are looking to appoint a full-time member of staff who has a “can do” attitude and is flexible, practical,  pro-active, energetic and diligent to support our existing teams in delivering excellent service.

The main responsibilities of this post are:

•general site maintenance both inside and out
•compliance with Health and Safety legislation
•key holding duties
•locking and unlocking of the premises
•general handyman duties
•assisting in moving deliveries and furniture as necessary
•supervising and assisting the cleaning team
•providing cover and support where necessary and liaising with contractors as directed by the Premises Manager/Estates Manager

The post is for 36 hours per week, there is flexibility on how the hours are spread across the day with the working day starting at 05:30am and ending at 8:00pm. Some out-of-hours or additional working hours may be required and this role involves shift work, including at weekends/bank holidays for which an additional allowance is paid.

Brampton Manor converted to Academy status in April 2011 and formed a multi-academy trust called Brampton Manor Trust in 2013. In January 2014, Brampton Manor sponsored another local school, Langdon Academy (a 3-16 school), who joined our Trust in January 2014. There is strong collaborative working between our schools.
