Our Primary School is looking to recruit a passionate, creative and dedicated teacher of Primary Performing Arts. The successful individual should be flexible and able to work across all of Primary, ages 3 -11. They will be responsible for planning integrated and standalone units of work, tracking and monitoring progress, completing termly reports and communicating effectively with parents.
We are seeking an enthusiastic specialist, who in addition to coordinating the performing arts curriculum will run extra curricular music and drama clubs and coordinate phase level productions. These well established annual Primary productions are renowned in the community for being high quality professional expressive arts events. In order to continue to achieve this the candidate must be able to motivate and inspire children of all ages and must be a team player, who collaborates with colleagues.
Furthermore, the successful candidate should have confidence in the use and implementation of technology to enhance and support teaching and learning, planning and reporting and the production process of expressive arts events.
The Performing arts specialist reports directly to the Head of Primary and Deputy Head of Academics and works alongside all homeroom teachers across Primary.
