We are recruiting for a talented and inspiring Teacher for our Lower School department. You will be a valued member of the teaching team as well as supporting pastorally in a Tutor group and providing one-to-one support sessions with students.
Our successful candidate will be passionate about primary education with the ability to motivate and support students as well as being creative, well organised and able to deliver dynamic lessons to a diverse range of students.
A secure knowledge of the primary curriculum is required and experience of SEN/SEMH related strategies and programmes would be welcomed. This role requires a candidate that is student focused as this role comes with pastoral responsibilities. You will spend a significant part of your day supporting your tutors and requires a patient and compassionate approach.

West Heath School is an Independent SEN residential school with charity status. We provide a therapeutically informed learning environment for children aged 10-19 who have suffered some form of trauma and are unable to access mainstream education.
