This is a fantastic opportunity to work as an enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant with pupils who have moderate or severe learning difficulties,  many of whom have a diagnosis of Autism.  

About the role:

You will assist the teacher in the delivery of the curriculum by working collaboratively to develop pupil’s independence, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and developing their social skills. You will also take responsibility for monitoring/reporting on the impact of class based interventions.

Marjory Kinnon School is one of the country’s largest SEND schools. Since having moved into a new purpose built school building in 2018 the school has doubled in size. A well performing school, MKS provides education to 330 pupils between the age of 4 and 16, many of whom have ASC as their primary diagnosed need.
