COLAI opened in September 2008 and is committed to providing outstanding outcomes for all its pupils. COLAI is mixed, non-selective, with no religious affiliation, and joined COLAT in 2020. COLAI was graded Outstanding under the previous Ofsted framework in 2019. The school retains many of the features which secured that judgement, and with the full support of COLAT’s Executive Team, the successful candidate will have the mandate to deliver exceptional performance.

In addition, excellent communication skills, understanding of the Ofsted framework and confidence to develop rich partnerships with school leaders, operational colleagues and governors will be essential.
