Briscoe Lane Academy is looking for a Principal. We converted to academy status in September 2012 as part of the Wise Owl Trust, and since then have gone from strength to strength. We are proud of our achievements to date, and we are looking for a dedicated leader to join our committed team to help take our school from Good to the next level.
Briscoe Lane is a growing 3-form entry academy. It is a vibrant and inclusive space filled with children who are ready to learn. We have a new building and outstanding facilities located in Newton Heath, East Manchester, under the shadow of the extensively redeveloped Etihad Stadium, Velodrome and Sports Arena, all of which we utilise regularly.
You will be an inspirational leader with the dedication and ambition to provide the best possible education for our children. With experience of working within the challenging urban context, you will have the vision and drive to see that our academy journey continues at a pace.

Briscoe Lane Academy is a 3 – 11 primary school located within the heart of East Manchester and is one of three academies within the Wise Owl Trust. Our academy has big ambitions for our children, families and community and this ambition doesn’t just end at the school gates.
