The Prospect Trust are seeking to appoint an inspirational, highly motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) to work at Tomlinscote School.

This is a new position and a fantastic opportunity to join a successful Trust who offer outstanding career opportunities.

Working alongside the PSHE lead, the successful candidate will be expected to deliver inclusive, responsive and innovative teaching and learning within the PSHE curriculum area.

Developing outstanding PSHE delivery is central to the Trusts ethos as part of supporting not only our students’ academic needs but also their emotional and physical development. We are looking for someone dedicated and passionate about supporting our student’s personal development and who understands the challenges and opportunities that young people face growing up in modern Britain.

They should recognise how PSHE education can help pupils to stay healthy and safe and prepare them for future life. The successful candidate will need to be confident in delivering a range of sensitive topics in an age appropriate manner linked to themes such as RSE, British Values, promoting diversity, equality and challenging radicalisation.

We expect all staff to undertake a pastoral role as a form tutor. There are also opportunities to get involved in the wider life of the school through trips and extracurricular activities.

We will develop every staff member that joins our team, providing one-to-one support, coaching and mentoring and access to extensive professional development.

You must hold QTS (or equivalent).
