An exciting opportunity has arisen for committed governance professionals to join Academy Transformation Trust (ATT), a high-profile, national multi-academy trust working to transform the lives of thousands of pupils and communities across the country.

Outstanding ethical and effective governance is critical to everything we do, supporting the scrutiny of our academies’ performance and the delivery of our strategic aims but also ensuring that educational excellence and the needs of our communities are at the heart of all our work.

Reporting directly to the Trust’s Head of Corporate Affairs, you will lead on all aspects of regional and local governance, supporting the recruitment of high calibre individuals as local governors, ensuring they are trained and developed to do their work effectively and managing the effective clerking which supports them. You will also play a key role in the Trust’s broader leadership, supporting all aspects of compliance and governance practice.

We believe that communication, visible leadership and strong relationships are critical to the delivery of good governance. As such, although these roles are home-based, it is expected that the RGMs will visit each academy within their region at least once a term and also be present at key Trust-wide professional development activities.

If you are a governance professional and/or someone with significant experience and a passion for good governance in education, then this could be the role for you!

Please visit the Academy Transformation Trust vacancies page to apply.

Closing date: 23:59 on Sunday, 1st September 2019.

Interview date: Thursday, 19th September 2019.

Academy Transformation Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and the successful applicant must undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure and reference checks.
