Salary: £21,189- £21,968 pa FTE (Actual Salary £9,022- £9,354 pa)
Salary Grade: Grade 2
Hours: 18.20 hours per week, Term Time Only plus 5 days
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient, and well organised individual to provide a daily technician service to members of the teaching staff in the Science department through the preparation and provision of equipment, apparatus, and chemicals to enable students to carry out laboratory experiments.
An interest in Science and experience gained within a laboratory environment and/or school setting is advantageous but not essential.

Crompton House Church of England School is a co-educational secondary academy with sixth form in Oldham, Greater Manchester. The 1,300 students who attend are required to be members of the Anglican church in order to gain a place (except for in the sixth form). The academy is located in the High Crompton area of Oldham, but also serves the communities of Rochdale, Middleton, Alkrington, Bamford, Littleborough and Saddleworth.
The school is served by the Anglican Diocese and left the governance of Oldham Council to become an academy in 2011. Crompton House was founded in 1926 by Mary Crompton.
