Tenbury High Ormiston Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative and dedicated Science Technician.

The successful candidate will work within a department of 4 teachers and 1 part time technician. Experience preferred but someone with a scientific background, who is willing to train would be considered

The academy is committed to the continuous professional development of its staff.

Tenbury High Ormiston Academy was formerly known as Tenbury High School before it converted to academy status in 2014. It was previously a community school administered by Worcestershire County Council. It is now sponsored by Ormiston Academies Trust and has specialisms in science and maths.

The school strives to provide a safe and caring environment for every student to learn in, and to reach their full potential. They hope to instil the ability, skills and knowledge everyone needs for modern life and to foster a lifelong love of learning. They hope to teach each student to work independently just as well as they work in a team and to teach them the morals, attitudes and beliefs that enable them to become respectful and understanding of everyone they come across.

The curriculum is broad and balanced and emphasises the importance of the core subjects of English, maths, science and P.E. It also offers modern foreign languages, history, geography, art, music, IT, design technology and computer science.
