About British Embassy School Ankara
The British Embassy School Ankara is a co-educational, not for profit, international school located in Ankara, capital of The Republic of Turkey. It is inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate, most recently in April 2022 when the school achieved an 'Excellent' rating for pupil's academic achievement and personal development.
First established in 1959, the school occupies a site on the grounds of the British embassy and currently hosts around 225 pupils aged 3-15. In September 2024 the school opened its first Year 10 cohort.
