Job overview

We are looking to appoint a part-time (27.5 hours per week) caring and reflective Learning Support Assistant to the Primary Phase of our all-through academy.

The successful applicant will support with the personal and intimate care, alongside supporting the learning and development of a child currently in our Early Years. This is an opportunity for you to gain valuable experience and high quality professional development in a supportive, innovative and forward thinking academy where all staff are dedicated to ensuring an inclusive environment for all children.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • able to articulate and demonstrate how to support outstanding teaching and learning
  • able to demonstrate a knowledge of inclusion strategies to support children with special educational needs
  • able to demonstrate an understanding of how best to support a young person with their personal and intimate care
  • a reflective individual who is committed to their own professional development and the professional development of others.
