The Governors of H3 Federation are looking to appoint a nurturing and effective teacher of maths for Harmood School.

 

Harmood is a SEMH Special School at the heart of Camden Town in Central London. It serves up to 40 students whose principal area of need is their social, emotional and mental health. In 2022, Ofsted rated the school as ‘Good’ overall.

This is an exciting career opportunity for a talented teacher to develop their practice in a small, specialist setting. The successful applicant will be a patient and resilient teacher, with experience of success with students with SEND. They will be passionate about the support good provision can give to children with SEMH needs to make progress in their academic studies and with their personal development.

The post would suit an ECT looking to work in Special Education, or a more experienced colleague looking to develop their career in a different setting. As part of the H3 Federation, the postholder could have the chance also to play a role in our mainstream or Alternative Provision settings. The role would suit someone wanting build their career within SEND and Inclusion. You will have a good understanding of the duties resting on special school settings for safeguarding young people.
