We are seeking to appoint an experienced, pro-active Site Technician to maintain and make repairs in the Academy, be first response to address problems with general repairs, plant, services and equipment and keep the Academy functioning efficiently both with facilities and events.  The main duties of this role are:

The Site Technician will ensure that high standards are realised with regard to the day to day running of services within the organisation, its safety and security, the maintenance of the entire Academy environment.  This will involve:

  • Being accountable for the general maintenance and upkeep of the Academy buildings and identifying necessary repair work to the Corporate Services and Identity Manager
  • Working in partnership with other site staff to ensure the day to day running of the Academy can be facilitated for staff and students.
  • Taking responsibility for the Academy maintenance, carrying out identified repairs, maintaining health and safety and day-to-day set up.
  • To support the Corporate Services and Identity Manager in ensuring the Academy is a clean, healthy and safe environment for all
  • To support the planned preventative maintenance and planned necessary development of the Academy’s premises and grounds
