Sixth Form Mentor
Salary: £16,492 - £19,147 for hours and weeks stated
Hours: 25 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term time plus 5 days)
The Sixth Form mentor will organise and oversee the Sixth Form study programme, encouraging positive use of the Study Area. They will monitor students in completing work set by teachers and will liaise with them to ensure completion of tasks, producing student resources such as revision guides.
The successful candidate will facilitate individual student intervention as required, as well as working with specific groups of students as nominated by Head of Sixth form. They will establish productive working relationships with students, acting as a role model and supporting students consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs.
