Job overview

We are looking for an engaging and inspiring SENCO. Joining us, you will ensure access to the curriculum for all pupils with special educational needs within the Academy and will be responsible for the effective co-ordination and identification of need, appropriate intervention and mentoring. You will also monitor and evaluate the impact of the interventions for all pupils requiring additional support.

To be successful, you will have:

  • a proven track record of developing the skills, knowledge and capabilities of children with special educational needs;
  • excellent interpersonal skills;
  • the ability to take a lead role within a team; 
  • high expectations of behaviour.
