Job overview

We are looking for committed individuals from the local community, and from all walks of life and backgrounds to join our Schools Standards Board.

We are looking for those who can share their viewpoints, experience, expertise, skills and fresh ideas to enhance the opportunities for our children and families within the community.

Your opportunity

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to join our School Standards Board (SSB) at Floreat Wandsworth School for a four year period. As an SSB member, you will contribute to and monitor the school’s development plan, which is focused on the key improvement priorities for the school. SSBs are also the Trust Board’s interface with key stakeholders: parents, staff and the community. You will be involved in gathering and responding to feedback from parents and staff, and developing and maintaining community links for the school.

SSB members provide regular feedback to the Trust Board on the performance of their school and the feedback from stakeholders, contributing to the overall improvement of the Trust. SSBs also have the opportunity to influence the strategy of the Trust as a whole.

Excellent training and support is provided and you don't need education experience.

Our school vision is that we will instil aspiration and high expectations to empower every child to become a successful citizen of the world through excellence in all that we do. Everything the SSB do has a role to play to make our vision a reality for pupils.

The Details
