Salary:  £27,732–£36,003 (qualified) plus an on boarding payment of £2,500. 

If you do not hold a teaching qualification the salary is negotiable for the right candidate.

We are seeking an individual with excellent technical skills who can deliver on one or more of the following courses: HND, A levels, T-levels and Transition to T-level

If you have a background in programming (e.g. Python, C, C#, C++, Javascript frameworks, Java, PHP or SQL), experience of delivery of A-level Computer Science or are Cisco qualified, we look forward to hearing from you.  

You’ll be working with our new Sector Lead to ensure that we are providing the right qualification for the right students, giving them the best possible learning experience.  

As a Course Manager you’ll have oversight of the qualification you’re responsible for, working with colleagues to ensure that our students achieve the best they can, and that all the required standards for the qualification are met.

Full-time staff teach for around 24 hours per week across 34 weeks of the year, with 38 days of leave, plus 17 days for professional development.

Strode College is a further education establishment for students aged 16 to 19, providing vocational qualifications, A-levels, and the new T-levels as well as providing degree-level qualifications.  We are based in the town of Street, in Somerset and were labelled “outstanding” in the latest Ofsted report.
