Dixons Allerton Primary opened with Reception and Nursery in 2013 and will rise to its full capacity of 472 pupils by September 2019. We are a school who are truly focused on the development of the whole child and work hard to ensure that happiness and wellbeing underpin everything that we do.

Our unique and innovative curriculum ensures that children progress quickly within academic subjects whilst at the same time, have the opportunity to develop their individual talents through a project and provision based approach to learning.

As we expand further, we are looking for an ambitious and committed teacher to work alongside our existing Year 4 team and play a vital role in designing the curriculum for our first ever Year 5 cohort.

At Dixons Allerton Academy our mission is for all students to leave the academy saying “At DAA, I developed good moral principles and achieved, exceptional outcomes that allowed me to have ambitious life choices”

We will work tirelessly and to whatever it takes for our students to achieve this. We make no excuses for having incredibly high expectations. We work with families, students and each other to ensure all students leave prepared and equipped for their next stage in learning and life.

At Dixons, we are committed to making a difference where it matters most. We work to improve the future for thousands of children in the parts of the north of England where young lives are adversely affected by social and educational disadvantage.

We believe that every child, regardless of their background, should be able to fulfil their academic potential and go on to thrive amongst the demands and expectations of 21st century life.

We are ambitious for every child we teach and want to see a society that benefits from the contributions of our well-educated and empowered young people who come through our network of high-performing non-faith academies. We make a difference to young lives by being that difference and defying the disadvantage we see.
