The successful individual will share our vision of achieving excellence and raising further the standards of teaching and learning. You will be a team player with a clear understanding of current and future curriculum developments. The post is suitable for an NQT or an experienced teacher. Full time and part time requests will be happily considered.
Thamesmead is a vibrant and successful school. In 2018 our students gained strong GCSE results. 80% of students gained a 4 grade or higher in Maths and English and 57% of students achieved a grade 5 or higher in Maths and English. 81% achieved 5 GCSES or more graded at 4 or above. Art and Technology are popular subjects at GCSE and this is a good opportunity to work with the Art and Textiles departments to help develop further the new GCSE curriculum in these subjects..
