Job overview

An exicitng and rare opportunity has arisen to join this well established Art and Technology Faculty.

The Art & Technology Faculty at Theale Green is focused on helping students find their creative strengths. We enjoy a strong record of examination success with exceptional uptake at KS4, over 90% of students opt to join us.  We offer students a choice of disciplines: Fine Art, 3D, Graphics, Design & Technology, Textiles and Photography, as separate endorsements.

While at A level students have their own dedicated studio space, facilities across the faculty include a range of workshops, oil paint facilities, computer suites, and functioning darkroom.  Within the faculty you won’t just be teaching a standard timetable allocation, you’ll play an active role in the extra-curricular life of the Faculty, contributing to off-timetable workshops, trips, life drawing, on-site exhibitions and more. We are looking for a talented educator who shares our commitment to achieving the very best for all students.

Theale Green School is a vibrant secondary school in West Berkshire which joined the Activate Learning Education Trust on 1 April 2018, taking it to the next exciting stage on its path to excellence.

We are seeking to appoint new members to our talented and inspirational team of teachers and middle leaders, those with drive and passion to take the school forward in the next phase of development. These are rare opportunities for talented learning professionals with the aspiration to grow their career within a successful and highly collaborative MAT.
