Franklin College is a thriving, successful sixth form college serving North East Lincolnshire and the surrounding rural and coastal area, with around 1,600 full-time 16-18 and 700 part-time adult students. We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Biology with strong interpersonal skills to join our dedicated team of teachers. The post is full time, from August 2017, or as soon as possible after that date. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to A levels in Biology and vocational applied science. You will be joining an experienced, dynamic team with a strong tradition of innovative teaching and learning, and student support. Applications for those seeking a part-time post are also welcome. We would expect the successful candidate would become actively involved in our extensive enrichment programme and contribute to the broader life of the College. You should be appropriately qualified in your specialist subject area (usually to degree level). Salary for the post will be to a point within the range £22,937 to £38,364 per annum (Sixth Form College scale)
