TEACHER OF CHEMISTRY
For January 2019 we are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and well-qualified Teacher of Chemistry for this oversubscribed comprehensive school with a long record of high student achievement.
This year 73% of students gained 9-5 grades in both English and Maths at GCSE, and our motivated students make excellent progress. OFSTED graded the school outstanding in all areas and commented “Students have outstanding attitudes to learning and take a pride in their work”.
The Science Department is supportive and successful and runs an extensive programme of specialist activities. Science A Levels are extremely popular in our Sixth Form and the ability to teach Chemistry to A Level is essential. Applicants should be keenly interested in how children learn, as well as committed to equal opportunities and a collaborative approach to teaching and learning. T
