We have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of English to join our vibrant, dynamic and forward-thinking school with cutting-edge facilities and a nurturing environment on a fixed term basis to start January 2017 until the end of the 2017 summer term.   

As a Teacher of English you will use your skills to teach the English curriculum across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. To ensure students make good to outstanding progress in this subject.  

As a Teacher of English you will use your excellent subject knowledge to teach the curriculum to a diverse student population and have the ability to plan and deliver well informed and engaging lessons according to the Manchester Academy Teaching and Learning Framework. You will have the ability to use technology to support exciting teaching, the development of skills, and homework provision and manage the learning of students in a secure and friendly environment in which they can thrive.  

Key to this role you will use your excellent subject knowledge to teach the course content to a diverse student population, you will plan lessons which match and reflect the full range of the learners needs and deliver those lessons in a well informed and to an engaging standard. 

 The Successful candidate will have a teaching qualification specialising in English, be a confident and competent user of ICT, and have the ability to motivate, engage and enthuse learners with a limited English proficiency.
