Welcome to Manchester Academy, a vibrant, inclusive school and one of the most improved schools in the country, based in the heart of Manchester.

Manchester Academy is highly ambitious for our students and has strong systems to support this progress. Our curriculum and teaching model is based on Rosenshine’s Principles of Instruction and we offer excellent support for new staff and early career colleagues. Many of our leaders have trained with us and are now leading change across the Academy. Our ambition for our students is matched by the expertise and passion across our staff team. Our unique location in the centre of our city means we are well served by public transport and accessible without a car.

We have a detailed curriculum across all subjects and dedicate significant time to academic teams to discuss, plan and share planning and resources. As part of one of the most ambitious Trusts in the country, United Learning, we are fortunate to be part of a much bigger network of professional practice which complements the curriculum leadership within the Academy.
