TEACHER OF FOOD TECHNOLOGY
Required April or September 2020
Due to the expansion of the school we wish to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of Food Technology to join our successful and expanding department where Technology is taught up to ‘A’ level. The department is well resourced with two large state of the art kitchens and a support member of staff to assist the teaching staff.
The Food Technology department is part of a larger Art, Design & Technology Faculty which is based in a specialist purpose built block with a suite of specialist rooms. The school is proud to offer a broad technology provision at all age ranges and technology is a very popular choice with students at both Key Stage 4 and 5. The school offers a large number of technology options at Key Stage 4 and has a number of students from other local schools who take a technology option at Key Stage 5.
This post would equally suit an experienced teacher or a newly qualified teacher for whom excellent induction and support is provided. If you are in training we offer the opportunity for a July start. An excellent induction and support programme will be available to the successful candidate.
