We have an exciting opportunity within a thriving, well-resourced Modern Foreign Languages Department at one of the country’s leading girls’ schools for a teacher of French to play a key role within an expanding department.
We already offer French, German, Mandarin and Spanish and are excited to be expanding our curriculum to include Italian and Arabic from September 2018.
Working with a passionate and talented team, you will teach and promote the subject throughout the senior school up to A level and Oxbridge level, teaching and inspiring our girls to become enthusiastic and skilled language learners.
An ability to teach another language would be desirable. The position would be suitable for an NQT but more experienced candidates may be considered for the role of Head of French. If you are interested in being considered for this role, this should be stated in the application.
The MFL Department benefits from a state of the art languages laboratory and organises a number of exciting trips, exchanges and events, which reflect our passion for exploring languages.
