The maths team wishes to recruit a teacher of mathematics who is able to well deliver differentiated lessons throughout our school and who has solid experience of teaching IB Diploma mathematics at standard level in the approaches and interpretations course with successful results.
The person appointed will be a great team player, be open to the use of technology in lessons and be creative. Experience of teaching MYP is an advantage, but not essential (KS3 and KS4 would suffice). An ability to understand students’ learning gaps, weaknesses and support their growth and development is critical. We are looking for an excellent practitioner who will be an advocate of assessment for learning, higher order thinking and questioning and developing self belief in students.
Furthermore, the successful candidate will have a confidence in the use and implementation of virtual learning platforms to inform students of progress, targets and to maintain close, regular contact with parents/guardians.
To apply for this post, please attach a supporting statement addressing why you are the right person for this role and attach an up to date CV with a recent photo.
