Essential: Qualified Teacher Status, ability to teach Maths to KS3 and KS4, excellent classroom practitioner with potential to be 'outstanding', at ease with Christian ethos of the school, able to motivate and inspire pupils. ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a team of colleagues, ability to plan effectively for a variety of learning styles and abilities, ability to identify and use assessment information effectively to plan next steps in pupils' learning, effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Desirable: Degree of Equivalent/Appropriate Maths Qualification. Awareness of recent developments in maths education. Commitment to further professional development. Competent in the use of ICT for learning, teaching and administration.
