We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious teacher of Maths to join our passionate team, who are committed to ensuring all students continue to achieve beyond their potential.  This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join a department dedicated to improving outcomes, aspirations and life chances of young people. 

Role:

  • Teach across the age range of KS3 and KS4 to all abilities
  • Ensure teaching and learning in the classroom maximises the potential of all students
  • To be accountable for the progress of pupils taught as a subject teacher.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of an innovative and engaging Maths curriculum
  • Be dedicated to personal continued professional development
  • To share and support the school’s responsibility to provide opportunities for personal and academic growth.

Leeds West is a co-educational, non-denominational 11-16 secondary in the city’s district of Bramley. The school is a member of the White Rose Academies Trust. There are currently approximately 1,300 students on the school roll. The school is located near Summerfield Primary School and Stanningley Park. The school offers an extensive programme of extra-curricular activities from martial arts to chess. The school is also sponsored by Leeds City College.
