This year the Academy celebrated its best results ever and in its most recent Ofsted inspection in November 2019 maintained the grading of Good with Outstanding for Leadership and Management.

Outwood Academy Foxhills is one of 22 secondary schools in Outwood Grange Academies Trust; it is a good school, where students love to learn and are motivated to achieve. Being part of the Trust means that all staff have access to excellent opportunities for professional development at all levels, with scope to build a career across a range of schools. In MFL there is a dedicated team of Directors who provide subject specific CPD and in school support to ensure that quality teaching and learning leads to outstanding outcomes for all students.

The MFL Faculty achieved outstanding results (90.9% Grade 4+, 86.4% Grade 5+, and progress 1.47 in 2019) and are set to continue this trend. The Faculty currently has 2 members of staff and we offer French Year 7 to GCSE and Spanish as an abinitio course at GCSE. This is a fantastic opportunity for a French and Spanish specialist to join a vibrant and outstanding learning community. Applications are welcome from experienced or new members of the profession.
