An outstanding opportunity at an outstanding School
We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and motivated Teacher of Music to join this vibrant department within the Performing Arts faculty until the end of this academic year. The school has an excellent reputation for Performing Arts Productions and the Music department also plays a very active role in the wider community and our extensive extra-curricular programme.
This post is open to NQTs and experienced teachers who are able to teach across Key Stages 3 & 4.
Weatherhead High School is an extremely successful school. We are accredited with ‘World-Class Schools’ status, giving us recognition that we have moved beyond our ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted status and have improved student progress, aspiration and achievement to such an extent that our students rival those of the best schools’ nationally and internationally. We are the only non-selective school in Wirral and Merseyside to have been awarded this quality mark.
In the last three years, we have consistently achieved significantly above the national average and have positive scores for both P8 and Attainment 8.
Through our work as a Teaching School and World-Class Schools network, we offer outstanding CPD and career development for all staff. As part of the Peninsula Multi Academy Trust, Weatherhead is committed to a culture of excellence and we are looking for an individual who shares that ethos.
For further details and an application form, please telephone the school or download the relevant files from www.weatherheadhigh.co.uk
A letter of application with the application form, including names and addresses of two referees, should be returned to the Headteacher via post or email. Please note, we are only able to accept application forms downloaded from our website.
